Watch US Grow

We are a registered charity created in 1999, which provides skills to enable people to take part more equally within their wider community. We work with adults with special needs and/or disabilities in an organic garden. We provide training for employment.

Our students carry out various jobs in the garden such as; planting seeds, watering plants, re-potting plants, attending to our wormeries, working in our polytunnel and selling plants to visitors. No working day is the same in our garden and there are always plenty of things to do to keep everyone busy all year round! Come rain or shine and in all seasons, you will always find our students, staff and volunteers working away in our garden.

baby-steps

Baby Steps is a shop that carries the whole range of baby equipment, from baths to buggies, cots to changing units and everything in between! It is a Social Enterprise which employs adults with disabilities, who will be delighted to show customers the range of stock, answer questions, and generally make you feel very welcome.

You can always be sure of a friendly face, keen to be of assistance at Baby Steps.

A phenomenal charity that provides an opportunity for adults with special needs to gain employment through its Garden and shop, Nursery Needs, that gives back to the community. Our Marianne loves working there and I would encourage everyone to check out what they have to offer be something for the garden or refurbished prams, children’s toys etc. not only are they value for money and helping gain employment for others, there is also the guarantee of leaving with a smile from being served by the happiest of people. Big love
